IMPORTANT NOTE: Proloquo is for Mac OS X and is different from Proloquo2Go, which is for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Proloquo can be used to create a complete personalized Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) system using simple drag and drop (or copy and paste) of phrases into lists organized by. Proloquo works with any hard keyboard, on-screen keyboard, mouse or mouse emulator, including the HeadMouse® Nano. Additional Infovox iVox voice credits can be purchased separately to acquire even more voices and to add additional computers.

Proloquo includes LayoutKitchen™, a powerful layout editor with which users can design their own speech panels with colorable and resizable buttons containing text and/or images in a variety of formats.Įach Proloquo license includes five (5) Infovox iVox™ voice credits that can be redeemed for individual Infovox iVox voices in any language.
Proloquo can also act as a talking word processor and advanced speech engine for KeyStrokes™ on-screen keyboard and SwitchXS™ users. To aid those who benefit from combined visual and auditory reinforcement, Proloquo provides speech feedback while typing and the ability to speak what is below the cursor so the user can both see and hear the words. Proloquo™ is a multilingual Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) solution designed to assist people who have difficulty speaking or cannot speak at all. These products are being offered as a courtesy to users who find they uniquely meet their needs.

Download and test the demo before purchasing the product to see if it works as you expect on your computer. This means there is no guarantee they will continue to work on future versions of OS X. We will also continue to provide information about Proloquo2Go on our website.Assistiveware has designated Proloquo a Legacy Product We will continue to provide accessories for the iPod touch such as the iMainGo2 speakers. We are extremely disappointed about this as we are very much aware of how fabulous this software package is – but we are happy to tell you that you will still be able to purchase it directly through the iTunes store yourself. Following feedback from a number of funding organisations that this is unacceptable and negative feedback about the complexity of supplying the software in this way, we have decided to stop supplying Proloquo2Go. However, due to restrictions with the software being distributed through the Apple iTunes Store, we are unable to provide you with a CD of the software and have been required to ask our customers to use iTunes gift cards or to download a pre-purchased version from the iTunes store. As you may already know, and as we announced in our last Spectronics emailed newsletter, Proloquo2Go is an exciting new AAC concept for use on the Apple iPhone or iPod Touch!įor the past few months, the Spectronics team has been working hard on configuring several flexible options for delivery of Proloquo2Go packages to users across Australia and New Zealand – ensuring that we are able to support you at the level you have come to expect from Spectronics.
